PETER CZEKAY

Peter Czekay has led LÉON WOHLHAGE WERNIK project teams since 2001. Each new task requires the ability to find one’s own balance and formulate a clear response that has its own character. Using that approach, the teams led by Peter Czekay have already implemented numerous renowned projects for the agency.

PROF. HILDE LÉON

Hilde Léon is a Managing Director of LÉON WOHLHAGE WERNIK. She founded the agency in 1987 together with Konrad Wohlhage († 2007). Since 2000, she has taught as a Professor at the Institute of Design and Building Construction at the Leibniz Universität Hannover. She is sought-after both as a jury member for national and international competitions and as a lecturer and provider of statements on architectural themes.

SIGGI WERNIK

Siggi Wernik is a Managing Director of LÉON WOHLHAGE WERNIK. As an architect and manager in the company, he is responsible for implementing projects and focuses strongly on important, forward-looking themes. He acts as a mediator with related disciplines to pool resources. In 1987, Konrad Wohlhage († 2007). founded the agency léonwohlhage together with Hilde Léon. After joining forces with Siggi Wernik as a third partner in 1997, the office was renamed Léon Wohlhage Wernik Architekten.

TILMAN FRITZSCHE

ASSOCIATE, PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Tilman Fritzsche has led the LÉON WOHLHAGE WERNIK competition team since 2006. In direct collaboration with Hilde Léon, the team has successfully completed numerous competitions. The breadth of competition tasks ranges from a residential quarter to a university campus, and from a library to a zoo enclosure. A large number of contracts have resulted from the successful competition designs.

ULRICH VETTER

ASSOCIATE, PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Ulrich Vetter has been leading project teams at LÉON WOHLHAGE WERNIK since 2001. In addition to his responsibilities as Team Leader, the main focus lies in reliable relationships with all partners in the construction process. From 2007 to 2009, Ulrich Vetter also gained qualifications in the field of real estate management.
