In the competition for a new building, shared by two vocational schools in Wetzlar, Hesse LÉON WOHLHAGE WERNIK was merited by the jury. Situated in two wings, the schools edge a court which opens a view to the landscape. The central entry zone is surrounded by shared functions like the canteen, multi-use rooms and the sports hall. From here glassed corridors stretch alongside the court to specialized rooms and the staircases. The class rooms on the upper floors are arranged around small atriums.
